3rd place in Dubai

A fantastic end to the 2011 Class-1 World Championship with ZaboRacing taking 3rd in the race, and a place on the podium at the end of Race 2 and the last race of the season. What can we say…. Christian and Ugur drove their hearts out, using skill and tactics to overtake the field and hold at bay the chasing boats.
Its what the team needed, had earned….. and what the team actually deserved!
Remember, its only 3 Grand Prix since we bought our new hull, and the engineering curve needed to bring it home 3rd after only 5 races, is an achievement that can be squarely placed on the experience of Jan, the ability of Christian and Ugur, and the passion and commitment of the entire team.
We always knew we would be standing on the podium sooner rather than later, and today we did it!
Obviously this is just a quick post to share the news and celebrations, and later I hope to have more video and photos with an update of the entire days events.

Congratulations to the entire team at Zabo Racing, the finish could not have happened to a cooler group of people!! I am so excited for all of your success!! Podium finish in Dubai……enough said! Can’t wait for 2012!! Nice! Nice! Nice! ENJOY!
