After last nights engine change, the team arrived bright and early to run the engines and test everything was working well…. and it was! Well I’ve made it back from Ireland intact, and Jan made it back from the UIM General Assembly in Abu Dhabi, where many new rules and regulations, that will see a vast improvement in Class-1, where ratified. We’ll have more to report on that later.

Well over the last 24 hours, I think its fair to say that even with the flip in yesterdays Race 1, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has been a great success for ZaboRacing. Whilst we didn’t get the points we had hoped for towards the world championship, we proved that we have a world championship …

Against all the odds, Relekta completed race 2 of the 2011 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The electrics in the cockpit have been held together and mounted with tape…. and right down to the last minute, checks and double checks where being carried out on everything in the engine bay.
